  1. Soak dates in hot water to cover in a bowl for 10 minutes; drain and reserve the soaking water. (P and K)

  1. Put on a medium baking pan parchment paper, lightly sprinkle some cooking oil. (P)

  2. Combine dates, peanut butter, oats and salt in a food processor; process until finely chopped. (P and K)

  3. Transfer the mixture to the bowl and add the peanuts; then spread the mixture to the baking pan. (P and K)

  4. Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl for 2 to 3 minutes; spread the chocolate over the mixture to coat. (P)

  5. Refrigerate until cold for 1 hour. Then remove from pan and cut into 16 squares. (P)
