“As a grandfather, I know how important it is to instill healthy eating habits in kids from an early stage. Having healthy food available is a critical first step. But teaching children to eat this type of food and like it is another challenge. I’m thankful for all the partners who have joint hands to launch Nestlé for Healthier Kids, a pioneering initiative focused on helping parents establish healthier habits for their kids. Memac Ogilvy is proud to unite as a partner for this cause and provide creative solutions for the health and wellness of the next generation.”

Obese children have a high risk of becoming obese adults, and this has been strongly backed by science and research. More importantly, eating habits are not innate but rather a learned behaviour. I have always been fascinated by the compelling role of nutrition on human health and well-being. Throughout my career as an obesity expert, I have come to realise that it is much easier to build healthy children than to repair unhealthy and ailed adults. I am united because an evidence-based intervention like N4HK provides the foundation for establishing life-long healthy eating habits among our children and a powerful incentive to prevent chronic diseases that would ail our societies

The focus on healthy behaviour is more important for today's digital generations than ever before. With children most vulnerable to the threats of a sedate lifestyle, initiatives like 'Nestlé for Healthier Kids' are crucially important. In the 2016 UAE Year of Reading, what better way to spread the message than through books? By partnering with N4HK's Tummyfish publication initiative in particular, Motivate fully extends its support to this important cause.
