  1. Preheat oven to 230°C (P)

  1. Cut pita bread into 8 triangles (like pizza cuts). Open the pita triangles and separate them into two pieces. They make 16 triangles in total. (P)

  2. Put pita pieces on a parchment paper. Brush them with oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, basil and parsley. (P and K)

  3. Bake for 5 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool and dip into freshly made salsa. (P and K)

  4. Directions for Salsa
    Combine tomato, green pepper, onion and garlic in a bowl, and add tomato paste (K)
    Scoop up the salsa with the pita chips
