MORE Fruits & Vegetables

We know it’s often tricky to get your children to try new flavors. But if you get creative with food for kids, you can help them discover that variety makes mealtimes fun – while ensuring they get the nutrition they need.

One approach is to make fruits and vegetables more appealing by presenting them in fun and creative ways. For example, you can create colorful fruit skewers with a variety of fruits like strawberries, grapes, and pineapple. Kids would then more likely give them a try.
Involving children in the preparation process can also increase their interest in trying new flavors. Let them choose a new fruit or vegetable to incorporate into a meal and have them help wash, chop, or cook it. This hands-on experience can make them feel more connected to the food and more willing to give it a taste.
Additionally, it's important to be a role model by regularly consuming fruits and vegetables yourself. Children often imitate the behaviors they see and may be more inclined to do the same.
