  1. Place the lentils in a pot and pour the water; bring to a simmer and cook uncovered for about 30 minutes or until cooked, making sure they are not over cooked.
    Add the pasta to the lentils and cook for another 15 minutes. (P)

  1. Aside, cook the garlic and the coriander in the olive oil. Add the mixture to the lentils and continue cooking for a couple of minutes. In the same pan, add the onions and cook them until tender and golden. Add half the mixture to the lentils while setting the other half aside for garnish (P) and (K)

  2. Before serving, add the lemon juice, then mix slowly and keep on low heat for a couple of minutes.
    Pour into 2 bowls and garnish with grilled bread, golden onions, and pomegranate seeds. (P) and (K)
